Cohiba Siglo I is an outstanding Cuban smoke. It is a rich and smooth Petit Corona or Perlas, using the official Habanos S.A. factory names for the vitolas. This is the shortest cigar in the Linea 1492 with a 40 ring gauge, 102mm long and 15,87mm diameter. This small format Habano, short and thin gauge, is a quick smoke. The burn is even and nice. A perfect choice for a short break. The Siglo I is mild in taste, due to the kind of tobacco leaves (much lighter) used for the filler. The wrapper is also very nice, with very fine veins.
Cohiba Siglo II is a classic Cuban smoke, a medium bodied Mareva. This is a short cigar in the Linea 1492 with a 42 ring gauge, 129mm long and 16,67mm diameter. Very well constructed cigar, it reflects Cohiba’s attention to detail and strive for perfection. The cigar smokes slowly and packs the typical Cohiba flavors in a shorter vitola. Lots of honey, leather and delicious cocoa and vanilla flavors. An amazing short Cohiba.
When lighting you will notice there is only one hole in the butane spigot, and you will also hear a faint hiss of butane as soon as you lift the arm up. Striking the flint, sparks fly and a beautiful flame shoots out that gives you precise control on where you want to light the tobacco in your bowl.
On the bottom of the lighter you will see the tamper that is inserted and runs the length of the lighter vertically. This tamper has 2 uses. One you’re able to use it as a regular tamper, and two you can use it as a screwdriver to adjust the flame settings and unscrew the cap that covers the butane valve.
